If you’ve read anything of mine in the past couple of years, you’ll find this man’s name. When it comes to interesting thought, new perspective in shooting, industry news or just general good times (DON’T! hum a Monty Python tune around him, I’m warning you up front), Joe McNally is your man! He is much more than a legend and I’m very honored to call him a friend. You’ll have the opportunity to see and hear exactly what I’ve come to love tomorrow in NY. Joe will be presenting at the Apple Store in Soho, lower Manhattan.

Now you might be wondering about this photo and that sinister grin on Joe’s face. I can only explain part of it here. To know Joe is to love Joe, and to be very, very cautious whenever that grin comes your way! Go hear him tomorrow and see his amazing images: I learn from him every time I do!

Printing is really getting popular, that’s cool and with the popularity are more and more printing related questions. Of late I’ve received a number of emails in regards to paper cutters. This might be from the fact that finding my favorite paper Epson’s UltraSmooth Fine Art in the 17×22 size is not always easy to find. Twice we have run out of this size and had print orders to fill so I’ve cut down sheets of 24×30. The cutter I rely on is the Dahle 444 Rolling Trimmer. It’s a simple trimmer with a very sharp blade that does a great job.

We offer personal Private Tutoring here at the WRP office and of late, most of the PTs involve workflow & printing. If we can be of assistance, give us a call!
