Wow! I just heard there are only a few spaces left on the August 19-26 Alaskan cruise I’ll be teaching on this summer. The Cruising Through Life folks have a great staff working this cruise, Dave Cross, Vincent Versace & myself will be on board for the entire week to talk photography and Photoshop. Don’t miss this opportunity, come cruise with us and have one heck of a great time learning photographing in one of my favorite places, Alaska!

A great opportunity is waiting for someone out there. I just learned that Laurie has an opening in her 07-11 May Texas Bird Safari. If you were really lucky, you’d be heading down to TX with Laurie to photograph those amazing birds 1 on 1 like I will be next month. The next best thing is going down with a really small group. Laurie, my former assistant and now one of our lead instructors for DLWS as well as with NAPP is one of the best in the business. You want photos of Green Jays, Crested Caracara, Harris Hawks and about another 50+ bird species, give her a call, NOW! You’re in for a safari of a lifetime! 503.703.3872

Snow is scarce in the Sierra, as in, we only have about 20% of normal and with the lack of fresh snow, it’s darn hard to track that darn rabbit. I know they’re out there though, you can see the signs for yourself at the feet of the Mtn Quail. So while I’m still getting skunked on my rabbit, at least I found a cooperative quail.
