Inside and under the tile roof of the Chambers Street Station, jackets and gloves were required. The breeze coming off the river and wiping towards City Hall numbed the ears. It was only when we stopped to look for the next photo opp under the “dome” though that the chill actually sunk in. Jeff had a great time and captured some cool image as well. Check them out.
The Chambers Street Station is on the route to walking the Brooklyn Bridge, you might not have seen it though because it’s on the other side of the fenced walkway to the bridge. Looking from the outside walking to the bridge, you wouldn’t know the cieling is this cool, tiled doom. If you’re in the area, check it out, you’ll have fun.
Here’s a little more idea of what’s there from the Moose Cam.
